Thanksgiving 2011

This year we got to go to Santa Barbara, California for Thanksgiving.  Bob's brother and his family live there and we have been talking about it for years, so.....off we went!  The boys were troopers as we did many adult things like visit the wineries and drive around site-seeing.

On September 17, 2011 my best friend from all the way back in Kindergarten got married.  Chrissy and Michael tied the knot in Taylor, TX and Duncan and I got to be a part of their special day.  Duncan did such a great job getting dressed up in his suit and "woody" boots and walking down the aisle hand-in-hand with Finnley...

1st Day of School!

Last week was Alicia's last day as the boys' nanny. And this week they started school. They are going to Riverbend Christian School's Mother's Day Out on MWF. This will be Bowen's first time in school and a new school for Duncan.

Labor Day in Port A

We traveled down to Port Aransas for Labor Day weekend with the Robson's.  We had such a great time.  The guys went fishing Saturday morning and the kids had a blast at the beach!

HOT August!!!

This summer in Austin has been extremely HOT and DRY!  I think we are close to 75 days of over 100 degree heat and no rain in sight.  We have spent a lot of time at the pool and trying to find indoor activities.

Luv-a-lot was at the beginning of August this year and since there hasn't been rain the lake was really low. Mom and I took the boys out for the day and they had a blast playing in the water with their cousins.

 We also took the boys to the circus along with the Robson's. They both really enjoyed it...

 ...especially anna and duncan who were hugging and kissing throughout the show!

We got a break from the heat when we traveled to Angel Fire, NM for Christina and Bret's wedding. The boys got to spend time with Grammy and Bopba and mom and dad got to spend time together and with great friends at the wedding.
